We had a great time at this venue, it was a good deal, intriguing, and well-located near a restaurant and the forest; it was especially charming in the morning sunlight by the walls.

I recently stayed at Chateau De Mavaleix for a few nights and it was an absolute delight. The rustic charm of this castle hotel truly made for a unique and memorable experience. The park and swimming pool were beautiful, perfect for enjoying the midsummer weather. The terrace provided a lovely setting for al fresco dining and the food at the restaurant was excellent, with a focus on organic products. The room itself was comfortable and tastefully decorated, with a touch of rustic flair. The owner, a friendly Dutchman, made us feel very welcome. In terms of value for money, this hotel is a winner. The location in rural green Perigord added to the overall appeal.
Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel had a beautiful swimming pool and a nice park. The location was great, surrounded by green countryside and in a peaceful setting.
The staff were not friendly and did not speak good English. The food at the restaurant was not homemade and overpriced.
